Happy Monday Babes! We love bundling up, getting cozy and taking Lucy on walks in pretty parks and trails — she gets to expend her energy, we get time to connect all together and breathe in the fresh air. She goes wild for the leaves, it’s the cutest thing to watch! My favourite way to dress this time of year (because some days it’s wet and cold, and others its warmer and crisp) is layering with weather-proof pieces.
Living in Canada, with all of the elements, we invest in quality pieces that will keep us warm, dry and have durability, while not having to compromise style and we are huge fans of Sperry over here! It’s one of our go-to brands for all-weather readiness, especially during the fall and winter months. I love these shiny quilted boots I’m wearing in this look because they’ve got an amazing waterproof rubber shell but on the inside it’s lined with soft mircofleece which makes these so comfortable and warm to wear out! They come in so many colours, but I thought it would be fun to mix it up with this dark grape shade for fall. I haven’t stopped wearing them, especially with all of the rain we got over the last week.
Neal loves his insulated wet-weather boots too — they make such a great, practical gift for your hubby or boyfriend (if you’re thinking holidays or birthdays)! I remember surprising Neal a few years ago before our trip to Banff, and they came in hand with all of our exploring we did, and after that continued wearing them throughout our long Canadian winter! Now, we just have to figure out a way to get Lucy in a pair of boots…lol! Have a great week loves! xo
